Product FAQs

HOJICHA LATTE WHEY ISOLATE

HOJICHA LATTE WHEY ISOLATE

Why do you use Whey Protein Isolate not Whey Concentrate?

Being the more premium option, whey isolate undergoes a more extensive production process which results in higher protein as well as having less carbs, lactose, and fat. Whey isolate is better suited for those that have difficulty digesting protein or are lactose-intolerant.

    MATCHA LATTE WHEY ISOLATE

    My New Daily Treat

I bought the sample pack to try a few new flavours, and this was hands down my favourite. I ordered a full bag of it before I even finished drinking the one I made with the sample pack!

It tastes like a cafe-quality matha latte while helping me hit my protein goals every day. As a bonus, it's saving me money because I haven't gone to the cafe to buy a matcha latte since I received it.

I also use it to make matcha chia pudding and top it with sliced strawberries, which has become one of my favourite high-protein and fibre-rich morning snacks.

    TARO MILK TEA WHEY ISOLATE

    New formula

I LOVE the new formula. I’ve tried both their old and new taro protein and found the previous one too light. This one actually reminds me of my favorite taro soup dessert my mom always made me growing up! I find it a bit sweet so I prefer adding water and just a dash of milk.

This is one of my favourite protein powders ever!

Doesn't taste like protein powder at all. It's super compatible with being mixed in with stuff/ having things be added to it. My go to is 1 serving of the protein powder, around 250-300ml of black coffee, and then water and a tiny bit of oat milk.

    Better than I thought

I purchased this sample pack because I couldn't decide what flavour to commit to. I definitely recommend trying each flavour in the golden ratio. Which is using half water and milk. If you use a shaker, please shake well. But I prefer using an electrical hand whisk. These do the job perfectly, and if you mix incorrectly, you will be left with a smooth milky consistency. Here are my thoughts on each flavour:

Boba Milk Tea -9/10, not too sweet and resembles a good milk tea

Matcha Latte-6/10 for a heavy matcha drinker, this did not resemble matcha at all. If anything, it tasted more like vanilla than matcha.

Taro-8/10 if you like taro milk tea, this will be good for you. However, it does taste like a taro milk tea with 30% sugar or less. If you are used to the sweetness of boba, you may need to add sugar or use mostly milk. But the taste is pretty spot on.

Hojicha-4/10, please take this with a grain of salt because I never liked Hojicha.

Mango Coconut-8/10, this one caught me off guard. It's very smooth, and the taste is just like the name.

London Fog- 7/10 I love a good London Fog, and this one was also pretty spot on with a hint of vanilla.

Thai Milk Tea-9/10 I loved this one. It had notes of tea while also not being too strong. This and the boba/taro were my fav.

Now I can't decide which large pack to get :)
